The Honorable Francisco Flores
Global Democratic Leader, Former President.
Served in various cabinet appointments and as President of Congress before becoming President of El Salvador in 1999. During his administration (1999-2004), El Salvador achieved the most accelerated poverty reduction rate in Latin America. President Flores was successful in fostering profound reforms in key institutions and in promoting the greatest public investment in the country's history. Fiscal deficits were reduced, economic stability was consolidated through a new monetary regime, interest rates and inflation were reduced to the lowest levels in 25 years, and new opportunities were created by his leadership to advance create a vigorous Central American integration process.
The Flores administration transformed a nation associated with violence and poverty into an example of growth and human development. After being elected with 52% of the vote, President Flores finished his term with 76% support. President Flores is a graduate of Amherst College. He currently presides at The America Libre Institute, an organization dedicated to fostering the best practices in fighting poverty and achieving sustained growth through a system that respects human individual freedom.
The Honorable Paula J. Dobriansky
Diplomat.
Served as Under Secretary of State for Global Affairs from 2001-2009. In this capacity, Dr. Dobriansky was responsible for a broad range of foreign policy issues, including democracy, human rights, labor, refugee and humanitarian relief matters, and environmental/science issues. She was also designated as the Special Coordinator for Tibetan Issues and in February 2007 was appointed the President's Special Envoy on Northern Ireland, with the rank of Ambassador. Dr. Dobriansky continues to lecture and publish articles, book chapters and op-ed pieces on foreign affairs-related topics. Currently, she is a Senior Fellow at Harvard University's JFK Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs and is a Senior International Affairs and Trade Advisor at the law firm of Baker Hostetler.
The Honorable Ted Brennan

Mr. Brennan has over 12 years of experience on Capitol Hill. During his tenure, Mr. Brennan advised Congressional leaders on all aspects of U.S. interests in the Western Hemisphere. Mr. Brennan lead successful Congressional efforts to provide reliable aid to Colombia and the Andean Ridge, worked to build strong economic and security relationships in the region, and helped develop the proposed social investment fund for the Americas. Since leaving government, Mr. Brennan has been advising companies on investment strategies in Latin America, promoting corporate social responsibility programs and improving transparency and the rule of law. Mr. Brennan was elected to serve as commissioner of the town of Emmitsburg, Maryland. Mr. Brennan is known for his strong bipartisan relationships with Congressional Members and Staff.

Former Mexican Senator Silvia Hernandez is head of Estrategia Publica Consultores a recognized consulting firm. She served ably in the Senate of Mexico for 15 years, where she chaired the Committee of Foreign Affairs of North America and the Committee on Competitiveness. Under the Administration of President Ernesto Zedillo, Senator Hernandez served as Minister of Tourism.
Ms. Sharon Isralow

Ms. Isralow retired after 30 years of federal service at USAID. Ms. Isralow spent a decade managing democracy and governance programs in Latin America (1988–1998), then moved to USAID's Bureau for Africa to work on the Liberia and Sierra Leone wars. In 2001, she became chief of the Africa Bureau's peacebuilding and governance division, managing a staff of technical experts engaged in democracy and good governance, counter-extremism, conflict mitigation and management, and civil-military relations. Upon her retirement in 2009, she was honored with an outstanding career achievement award for her sustained work in the area of reconstruction and stabilization, with particular expertise in disarmament, demobilization and reintegration.

Ambassador Jewell has years of diplomatic service in the Americas and experience with the foreign policy bureaucracy in Washington, D.C. From 2005-2008 she was the U.S. Ambassador to the Republic of Ecuador.
